USS Arizona Memorial

The USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii was constructed for all the men who lost their lives aboard the ship when the Japanese led their surprise attack against the United States on December 7, 1941, which brought the United States into World War II.  The ship was sunk in the harbor by a Japanese torpedo.  The ship lies below the memorial, forming a cross.

USS Missouri Battleship

This battleship was the last one to be built by the United States.  It also was where the Japanese surrender to the United States was signed, thus ending World War II.  Therefore, as of today, the war began and ended in Pearl Harbor.

Flagstaff, Arizona: Oak Creek Canyon

It really hailed on the day we were there.  The temperature went from 89 degrees all the way down to 46 within a matter of minutes.  It was simply amazing!
